PagePush
Want to close some of those browser tabs? Try PagePush.
PushPage is an alternative to page bookmarking that is integrated with your Gmail account to remind you to look at a page at a specified time.
Technically it is an amalgamation of two other chrome extensions: GTDmail and Send From Gmail.
Many times I will come across an article on the web which I want to read later. I find that even when bookmarked, using Delicious or some other mechanism, I still keep the browser tag open. Or I will create a shortcut to the link on my desktop.
This all because I don't want to forget to return to that particular site. Now my desktop and browser becomes inundated with a backlog of abandoned tabs and shortcuts aging by the week.
Any productivity expert (or novice for that matter) will tell you that this behavior is not conducive to fostering that onslaught of constructive creativity that we seek.
One morning I opened a reminder of a YouTube video that I had recently pushed and to my pleasant surprise, Gmail embedded the video in the message. So I didn't even have to go to the source page.
